Energy Panel

Luis Rodriguez

D.José Manuel Torres Ramos:

"We are not concerned about what we are really consuming." We all must agree with this quote because all of us consume energy all day without knowing how much it cost and how it had been produced. The objective or the main goal of these energy industries is to make a change in the concept of having energy and make an energy that cause less pollution by using new technologies which avoid CO2.

D. Iván Higueras Rivas:
Nowadays, billion of people around the world in spite of the progress and the evolution in the technologies we have, cannot have energy or electricity in their houses. This happens in places or areas such as África or India. The correct thing is to provide those areas electricity or energy, but it is not as simple as it sounds. If we give energy to those areas the planet will heat up at the point that would cause a global disaster. D. Iván said that we have to find a solution to solve this problem.

D. Miguel González Ruiz:

"39% of the energy used in Andalusia is renewable." is a great data or value in an energy context for Andalusia because is a quite big percentage in relation to other regions in Spain. This percentage is a serious reason that makes us think that we are in a region where we have a progressive mind and attitude in terms of changing and progressing to a better energy and a better world.

Dña. Susana Carrillo Aparicio:
After listening the different ideas and interesting comments from Dña Susana I came up with the idea or conclusion that today we have an overdue energy model and Susana´s business said that the actual energy model is not useful. We have the correct resources to change this actual energy model for a better and more innovative one, but the problem is that governments and society cannot affront because of economic and social reasons.

Enrique Reina

Our three guest exposed different ideas:

Mr. José Manuel Torres Ramos:

"We loose the 98% of the energy that we use"

I think that we have to be aware of how we redistribute the energy that we use.

Mr. Iván Higueras Rivas:

“Neither the sun and the wind, work when we want them to work. We need to regulate them.”

Ass all the guests have said along the talk, we have to find a way of storing the renewable sources of energy.

Mr. Miguel González Ruiz:

"Each day we are more and more dependents to electricity."

We need to find a way of been able to work without been connected to the electric net.

Mss. Susana Carillo Aparicio:

"There is a lot of capacity in the electric net, that is not used along the year."

We need to regulate the production of energy, so we do not over produce energy that pollutes without exploding the capability of the electric net that this one allow to us.

MAIN IDEA:

Along the talk the guests talked about the integration of renewable energies, however, the showed graphics, show that the population does not "accept to them or use them". Also, is researched the balance between the use of energy and consumer, so, it would not be less outstanding and more eye-catching sell the use of both energies, renewable as non-renewable, where the non-renewable will be the storing unit that renewable energies do not offer to us?

D. José Manuel Ramos

“Energy is found in whole world”

We don´t really appreciate the importance of energy in our daily life. We couldn´t live without it.

D. Iván Higueras Rivas
There are 1.3 billion people that don´t have access to energy.

Throughout this statistic, we can realize the tremendous inequality that nowadays exists in the world. With the developed technologies that we have these days, it´s disgraceful those energetic inequalities that are in our world.

D. Miguel González Ruiz

As the days pass, we depend more on energy.

Our lives had been used to live surround by energy: In the work, in the school, in the transports… and we should learn to live without been connected 24 hours to them.

Fernando Villamarín
  • Energy is the biggest business in the world .
  • There is no conscience of energy's value.
  • The main problem of energy is that the majority is lost in the transport.
  • The objective of energy is to give energy to those who don't have any,
  • You cannot control renewable energy.
  • Energy storing is the most important research of this field.
  • It would be optimal to produce the energy near to where it is going to be consumed to avoid energy loss through transport.
Energy is the most important resource of our century, as it is used for everything, so there has been a lot of investigation in order to improve its production, storage and transport. Even though, energy is not yet efficient, so the technology should be improved.
