Food panel

Dña. Mª Isabel Martínez

Bad nutrition can affect the learning of children.

In Burkina Faso, there has been an increase in the last year of a 20% by encouraging breastfeeding.

Since the year, 2000 child mortality has reduced in a 50%.

D. Ángel Marín

The concept of quality is subjective, the consumer establishes its quality.

The consumer is missing too much information about nutrients they buy.

The security of our nutrition is more than control, its protection, prevention, auto control, knowledge, etc.

D. Miguel Valero

There is enough food produced the problem is the distribution, as in many countries they do not have enough resources for this.

There has been given high levels of loose in products towards the absence of storage of the production and consume.

D. Rafael Carmona

The biggest world problem is hunger.

What we should do is to produce food in the whole world, not only for countries which can allow it.

Whereas Canadians can produce a media of 550 liters and Spanish of 200 liters, Africans produce 8 and Indians 12.

Main Idea

Nutrition is a big issue, so big that it can cause death as well as it can affect us in different fields such as education, so as a consequence for this bad nutrition is a big problem especially in poor countries, so we need to think how to solve this bad nutrition.

Fernando Villamarin

  • Undernourishment goes against human rights of the children, as they have the right to fully develop themselves.
  • Undernourishment also affects the cognitive capacities of the children. This also has an impact on education, as children cannot develop their brain.
  • In first world countries, the consumer lacks a lot of information about nutrition and what he is eating.
  • The objective of the food chain is the final consumer.
  • Food is more sophisticated, but the consumer is more demanding.
  • Food production has an environmental impact.
  • Edible products must follow certain regulations.
  • The most important problem of the industry is microbiology.
  • There is enough food for everyone, but not enough distribution.
  • In some countries, they can't cultivate edible products.
  • There are solutions to solve poverty.
I conclude that in order to provide food for everyone, it is mandatory political support and people to be concerned about this global issue. On the other hand, I do believe that this problem could be partially solved by the improvement of certain technology to enhance production and distribution, but I think that the main engine to solve undernourishment are people.

The intake of food is not suitable to the nutrients that we need, in the countries.

There are three different types of malnutrition.

A bad nutrition affects to the cognitive prosecution of the children.

What I took in clear of this guest, is that malnutrition is a very big impact issue, which it worldwide consequences affect everyone.

Mr. Ángel Marín Barea

"There is a worldwide issue in the redistribution of richness, where in some places, they produce a lot more than in others."

What I took in clear of this guest, is that we need to solve the problems with food distribution, that will aid with the solution of malnutrition.

Mr. Miguel Valero Valero

We do not know how food is manufactured before it reaches to us.

We are not conscious of what have the nourishment that we intake.

Each year in Europe is more than 5000 of deaths due to salmonellosis.

What I took in clear of this guest, is that as consumers, we have to know what we eat and what they have.

Mr. Rafael Carmona Priego

Vicente Ferrer- "We are in a place where there are obese people and hungry people.

We have to make conscious the population of how to produce the food they need.

There are tools, there are instruments, there are remedies to solve poverty.

What I took in clear of this guest, is that we need to be able of sharing and making the people conscious of how they can produce.

MAIN IDEA:

I think that we need to solve the problems that poverty give us, so we can solve then the malnutrition and the distributive problems, so the food can reach this poor places.

Pedro Robles

Dña. María Isabel Martínez Viamonte

"Malnutrition produce growth retardation"

"51 millions of boys and girls have weight problems."

D. Miguel Valero Valero

"The 20/30% of the food that we eat comes from other countries"

"The objective of our business consist of being oriented to the clients."

D. Ángel Marín Barea

"We are in a developed market"

"We should use education and technology to improve the nourishment distribution"

D. Rafael Carmona Priego

"The famines kills 100.000 people each day."

"Our world is full of obese and hungry people."

Main Idea:

Malnutrition is hereditary.

Malnutrition is a disease caused by an inappropriate diet, low calories and low protein. This disease is commonly found at least in developed countries, in where poverty bounds. They have a lack of nourishment. If malnutrition is not solved in adults, it will then affect to their descendants.

To try and solve this disease, we should start treating those adults with risk of transferring the disease to the kids and then to the little children.

Luis Rodriguez

Dña. Isabel Martínez Viamonte:
128 million people suffer malnutrition around the world.

The malnutrition is a problem that we can avoid and nevertheless many people continue dying every day due to this global problem. "Today there are going to die 16000 persons for reasons that we can easily avoid.

D. Ángel Marín Barea:

We are in an already developed market.

There is a global problem of redistribution.

D. Miguel Valero Valero:
Heart diseases or cancer in more than 40 % of the cases is due to food problems.

We are passive consumers, we eat what they put us ahead.

D. Rafael Carmona Priego:
The current food crisis is the major problem of the humanity.

We are in an unequal world, obese persons and persons that they starve.

Main Idea:

The main idea and the principal problem are the inequality that exists between non-developed countries and developed ones. Investigating about this theme, I found out a creepy result or data that show us the inequality between countries in a food context; developed countries wasted so much food that we can feed the lack of food and malnutrition in third world countries.

We need to be humans, think in people who are really in a chilling situation and we need to help them by participating in ONG and trying to help humanity.
